The paper used for identity cards, passports and driving licences must have the same properties as conventional photo paper. There are two methods to print photos on Photo sheet.
Method 1:
If you have got Photoshop installed, you can use Photoshop to create sheet of photos. Following are the steps –
1) Open Photoshop and go to File Menu > Automate> Picture Package.
2) This will open Picture Package dialog box.
3) In ‘Source Image’ select your photo using the Browse button.
4) Select the page size here and choose what size of Photo you want to print on the sheet. I have selected here 2×2 size which will give 20 photos on one page. (Note : In India photos of size 3.5×4.5cm are usually called Passport Size photo.)
5) Now click on ‘OK’ and you will have your grid of photos ready in Photoshop. Go ahead and save this image.
6) Now print this photo using photo print software which comes with Printer, do not use Windows photo printer as it will not consider the page size. While printing the photo, choose the page size which was selected at the time of photo creation.
Method 2:
There are online tools available which can help you in printing passport photo at home. One such website is – idphoto4you.
This website allows you to create photo sheet without any login or account. Just follow these simple steps –
1) Open www.idphoto4you.com and select the size of image which you need.
2) Remember for USA you have to select Photo Size of 2x2cm and for India it is 3.5×4.5cm which is considered as Passport size pic. For Print/Page size there is no option to choose A4 size paper (or anything around 8×11 inch of page size), so the best option would be to select 4x6inch paper size and print the image twice on one A4 Photo Sheet.
3) Click on Choose Size button and after selecting the photo, click on the Upload button.
4) Now you can crop and adjust your photo before printing. You can also adjust Brightness and Contrast of photo.
5) Click on Make Photo button and you will have your photo sheet ready. It will ask you to wait for 1 minute before you can download the photo (you can remove this time by linking your Google plus account). After 1 minute you will have a download link available, click on it and download your photo sheet.
6) Now print this photo using photo print software which comes with Printer, do not use Windows photo printer as it will not consider the page size. While printing the photo, choose the page size which was selected at the time of photo creation.
